To say this was unique is an understatement. This isn't your usual fluff piece you read about billionaires. It is dark, but at times funny, but also, very sad at times, it had a lot of intrigue, some twists, and hot sex (normal for billionaire novels - right)?The down side, at times I felt it was to wordy and maybe cut down by 1/4 would have been better. I loved the opening of the story, so interesting, and made me feel a connection to our H and h from the start.
When they change cities, somehow their language to each other became more teenager, than people educated and in their 20's.
The author redeem herself with the last 1/4 of the book, because it will keep you on the edge of your seat. It certainly is a very bumpy road to HEA, but it does arrive.
I wish there was an Epilogue though. This screamed for it, because when they finally get to their HEA, you want to see their future since they had to work so hard to have one.
So my advice is be patient with the story, because the journey is very unusual. (ljb)

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
First of all I would like to say that I was found by the author...and I will be forever grateful to her for finding me and for this great opportunity,because i discovered an outstanding author,one you HAVE TO follow,because her books are amazing...pure art...and believe me,once you've read one of her books you'll want to read another one,then another and then one more!!!
Now back to the book this story may seem similar to others(a curvy heroin,a billionaire hero)but ,believe me,it's different!!!
First of all the plot of the story(yeah you heard me,there's a plot!)is well constructed,complex,but easy to follow at the same time,but don't worry,it's also full of funny moments(Yeah I burst out laughing all by myself with my sister eyeing me suspiciously),and a lot of sexy,steamy moments that will leave you hot and excited!
You will keep on reading this book 'till the end,with its rollercoaster of emotions,plot twists,struggles,dark,emotional and sad moments,cute and funny moments...and I think that the end of the book is something spectacular,not because it's a happy ending(YEAH!!!!!),but because it's a situation that can be real...the problems don't disappear by magic in a moment,our characters have to pay the consequences of the situation,but they do this with honor and moral integrity and they keep on loving each other above all!!!
And the characters...I rarely seen characters so well written and so real...they're not perfect,they're funny,they have their flaws and their strenghts,they make mistakes and have “dark moments”,but they keep fighting and they keep loving each other and that's their greatest strenght...they're not alone!
I definetly recognized myself in Cassie,with her insecurities,her continuous struggling in life but also her strenght,her “professionality”,her desire to love and her faith in people.
And I think that Dave is the perfect leading man because for once we finally have a real man,one who can be strong,sexy as hell,but also very clever,funny,with a big heart,a strong integrity...someone you can trust as well as love!
I think that this book is really worth reading,a book that will leave a mark,that you'll remeber for a really long time!!!
So people watch out for this amazing author!!!!

I liked it. It's a long story with twists and turns. Just when you think you know what happens it turns. Sappy at some parts Clever at others.. Really like this author..
Seldon writes so well like she's talking to you personally.
The characters are so down to earth. I really needed to
share how much I enjoyed reading this book.

I'm emotionally exhausted. I howled with laughter, cried and laughed some more.
I read this author's first book and she has created yet another deliciously satisfying tale and I feel honoured to have been able to enjoy it as an ARC for an honest review.
I'm speechless at the subtle political espionage plot intricacies and textures and twists.
I had no idea where it would end up, but what a pleasurable roller coaster of a ride. Sheesh!
If I hadn't been given this copy for free to review, I would've bought it anyway (and I did buy it after reading and loving it so much).
I hope it's wildly successful!

I shouldn't have enjoyed this story as much as I did but it was good. It has elements I'm not fond of in general - lots of profanity and in my opinion trashiness. I could have lived without a lot of the language but the storyline kept me going. It was different and unique and totally believable (although it shouldn't have been). The h is struggling to keep a bar she inherited from her folks going and has had to be tough (and trashy) to keep her head above water. The H turns out to be the son of a ruthless billionaire, who tries to run away from his life when the h discovers him naked in the back of her truck. How he came to be there was pretty funny actually. Anyway what made this book for me was the H. He really was written in such a special way and you can't help but fall in love with him too. It's not a light and fluffy story and it gets quite heavy in places but as I said I enjoyed it and can recommend it.
